The foresight exercise aims to help the NO-FEAR project ongoing and future activities to cope with immediate, mid-to-long term paradigm and tendencies shifts related to dilemmas of new emerging treat, security issue, society changes in EU emergency medical care. Foreseeing and weighting these changes and their impact on NO-FEAR framework, will help the inside and outside project networks from directly and indirectly related fields of expertise, to prepare and anticipate to changes.
Targeted outcomes of the foresight exercise in the framework of the NO-FEAR project are formalized and listed below. However, reader/participant should note that these targets can change and evolve during the exercise itself.
I. Trends identification and first prioritisation; (i) current, (ii) foreseen during project (one to five year span time; mid-term), and (iii) foreseen after project (more than five years; long-term).
II. Needs and gaps identification and first prioritisation : (i) current, (ii) foreseen during project (one to five year span time; mid-term) and (iii) foreseen after project (more than five years; long-term).
III. Orientations and trend building for the upcoming workshops during NO-FEAR helping for prioritisation of trends and topics to be addressed during by the different workshops and demos.
IV. Provide material and method for survey of the trends during life of project and their periodic or punctual prioritisation revaluation.
The four targeted objectives will be considered every time A) for the three axis of the project – acute care of the patient, acute care operations in security incidents and education and training of personnel and volunteers; B) in an holistic inter-axis angle, C) with respect to a transversal axis being: sustainable communities network building, information sharing and standardisation aspects.
